My name is Ellen Keith. I’m 28 years old and originally from Alberta, Canada. In 2012, I traded in my office cubicle in Edmonton for a camera and a backpack and set off on a solo, 10-month trip across Europe and South America, which set the stage for a long-term move. I currently live in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where I work for a Dutch labour-rights NGO.

My debut novel, The Dutch Wife, is forthcoming with HarperCollins Canada in April 2018.
